Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a 1st shift Production Supervisor at our facility in Austin, TX supporting the production and material handling operation. In this position, you would be a key part of the manufacturing team. A successful Production Supervisor will be interested in manufacturing technology, have a high standard of safety, performance and quality, and enjoy leading teams. Production Supervisors are responsible for the daily manufacturing output of production teams, material handling, and the development of team members.

- Lead teams to follow detailed work instructions to safely build and package quality products
- Lead teams to assemble custom products to meet the needs of our worldwide customers
- Work in our inventory management system to manage materials transactions
- Manage the upkeep and maintenance of all production equipment and facilities during the shift
- Work through Production Leads and our supply chain and distribution teams to complete customer orders
- Develop team members and production Leads in their skills and career growth

- Ability to work to support 1st shift production schedule (1st shift: 6:30am-3:00pm)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field or operations preferred
- If you do have a degree, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required
- 3 - 5 years of Manufacturing experience; 2 years production supervision
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Advanced math and computer skills
