Overview:
Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Operations Finance Team. This position will be a key part of the Corporate Finance Team supporting management decision-making with reporting and analysis in a cross-functional environment. A successful Senior Financial Analyst will have a working knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, strong technical skills, and the initiative to learn and add value to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting:
- Manage the annual budget process for business partner
- Accurately prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Analyze trends in operating expenses, capital expenditures and other related area
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings
- Analyze the financial impact, risks, and opportunities of proposed business decisions
- Prepare monthly variance analyses and financial reporting
- Research and understand cost drivers
Active communication with Lutron organization:- Conduct business reviews with business partners and finance team
- Provide detailed financial analytics in support of monthly updates
- Proactively lead business partner to meet or exceed financial commitments
- Make recommendations to business partners regarding risks and opportunities
- Partner with accounting during the monthly close process and ensure compliance to Lutron’s accounting policies
- Support board of director and audit committee preparation
- Support Finance Director with special projects and efficiency / effectiveness projects

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with a 3.00 GPA or higher
- 3-6 years work experience in finance and/or accounting with monthly reporting responsibility
- Experience in manufacturing a plus
- Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- High-level of Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
