- What You’ll Do :
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead tax planning initiatives for LLCs, partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations.
- Manage property tax compliance, federal / state / local tax payments, and related filings.
- Conduct in-depth tax research and stay ahead of changing tax laws to minimize liabilities.
- Collaborate with shareholders, partners, and external consultants on tax strategy and planning.
- Oversee federal, state, and local audits, and ensure timely responses to notices and inquiries.
- Provide insightful analysis of tax legislation and its impacts on the organization.
- What You’ll Bring :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Advanced degree or CPA preferred).
- 8 years of federal LLC / Partnership tax experience, including multi-state and local taxes.
- Expertise in handling pass-through entities and managing tax compliance processes.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly.
- A driven, independent work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
