POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in developing compelling proposals and supporting broader marketing and business development initiatives. This position is responsible for coordinating and drafting proposals, tailoring content to specific audiences, and ensuring all deadlines are met. Beyond proposals, you will contribute to the creation of marketing materials, preparation of print and digital collateral, client presentations, and other internal and external initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Collaborate on proposal development, including writing, editing, and customizing content to effectively communicate Lutz’s value proposition while ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Prepare and coordinate marketing materials for prospect meetings and client presentations
- Proofread and edit communication to ensure accuracy and alignment with the Lutz brand voice including clarifying objectives and aligning messaging with the needs of the targeted audience
- Assist the copywriter in content creation for blogs, press releases, social media, and internal communications to support marketing and branding initiatives
- Support team members with additional marketing, business development and client experience initiatives as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRED
- 1 year of formal writing experience, with a focus on proposal coordination or similar roles
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Project Management or a related field
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Creative strategic mindset
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to adopt the Lutz brand voice
- Team player with a desire to assist colleagues outside of everyday duties
