JOB REPORTS TO: Director of Customer Service

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Duties include answering telephone, entering orders from the customers, entering warranty cards, responding to inquiries, and promoting the organization's products and services with Distributors/Customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handles incoming basic order calls/customer service calls and answers troubleshooting questions.
- Performs to meet and exceed customer's service expectations.
- Provides timely and accurate information to customer/dealer, service order calls, and product knowledge.
- Places, edits, changes, or cancels orders/backorders.
- Places ship requests as needed.
- Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
- Verifies information with customers/dealers and updates/edits customer/dealer information.
- Handles distressed customers in a professional manner.
- Has ability to research and resolve issues.
- Works on special projects as required and other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Good grammar, voice, and diction
- Dependable and punctual
- Excellent communication skills/customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to follow directions
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills/proficient in Word, Excel, and Windows

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED and up to 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area
