JOB TITLE: Customer Service/Order Entry

DEPARTMENT: Customer Service (Bristol)

JOB REPORTS TO: Director of Customer Service

**Willing to negotiate salary based on experience**

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Duties include answering telephone, entering orders from the customers, entering warranty cards, responding to inquiries, and promoting the organization's products and services with Distributors/Customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handles incoming basic order calls/customer service calls and answers troubleshooting questions.
  • Performs to meet and exceed customer's service expectations.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to customer/dealer, service order calls, and product knowledge.
  • Places, edits, changes, or cancels orders/backorders.
  • Places ship requests as needed.
  • Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns.
  • Verifies information with customers/dealers and updates/edits customer/dealer information.
  • Handles distressed customers in a professional manner.
  • Has ability to research and resolve issues.
  • Works on special projects as required and other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Good grammar, voice, and diction
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Excellent communication skills/customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Basic computer and keyboarding skills/proficient in Word, Excel, and Windows

Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to quiet and office is in a clean environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED and up to 1 year of experience in the field or in a related area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
