Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and applying paint to various surfaces, including interior and exterior walls, trim, and fixtures.
• Mix paints and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Learn and apply painting techniques under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Contribute to various residential and commercial projects.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality results.
• Maintain effective communication with team members.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Practice the "5 S Principles" relating to company vehicles at all times

Qualifications

• Prior painting experience is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to diplomatically navigate demanding situations and requests.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some roles).

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in the benefits and IRA after 30 days of employment. Employees are also eligible for Paid Holidays and accrual of Paid Time Off. Part-time employees are eligible for paid holidays, prorated for part-time hours.

Cognitive Skills: Ability to read; proposals, documents, and emails, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and the public. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will constantly be on their feet walking and standing. The employee will frequently be required to reach, handle (hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hand or hands), finger (picking, pinching, fine manipulation). The employee is occasionally required to bend, squat, climb stairs, push, and pull. The employee will occasionally be required to lift and/or move 75 pounds.

Work Environment: This position is conducted in both interior and exterior settings. The ability to withstand prolonged exposure to varied outside temperatures and inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time is required. This position requires employees to work at heights on top of roofs of various stories. Ability to manipulate and safely use all required equipment and PPE.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Construction painting: 1 year (Required)
• Residential painting: 1 year (Required)
• Customer service: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Manchester Center, VT 05255: Relocate before starting work (Required)
