Reports to: Spa Manager / Lead Cosmetologist

Overview:
Luxclusive Studio in Olympia, WA, is seeking a talented and licensed Cosmetologist to join our team. As a Cosmetologist, you will be responsible for providing a variety of beauty services to our clients, including haircuts, color treatments, styling, facials, and other cosmetic treatments. You will offer personalized consultations and ensure each guest leaves feeling refreshed, confident, and satisfied with their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide haircuts, color treatments, blowouts, and styling services for clients, ensuring the highest quality of service and care.
• Perform facial treatments, including facials, skin analysis, and recommendations for home care products.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and industry standards in hair and skin care.
• Offer personalized consultations to determine the best services and products for each client’s needs.
• Ensure all tools and workstations are sanitized and maintained in accordance with spa and safety standards.
• Advise clients on hair care and skincare products and recommend services to enhance their experience.
• Maintain accurate client records, including service history and product preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and relaxing experience for every client.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products to clients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Cosmetologist license in Washington State (required).
• Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or in a similar role.
• Expertise in haircuts, coloring, styling, and facial treatments.
• Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with advanced hair treatments (e.g., keratin, balayage, perms).
• Knowledge of spa treatments such as massages, body treatments, or aromatherapy.
• Fluent in additional languages (if applicable).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 20 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a spa environment, which may include exposure to various products and treatments.
