Our US office is looking for a sharp, autonomous accountant to maintain structure with our numbers and provide insight to our decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly close, journal entry, and reconciliation processes
- Generate monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Support budgeting and forecasting with leadership
- Manage AP/AR and cash flow
- Maintain banking relationships
- Provide assistance to accounting firm with tax preparation and compliance
- Payroll assistance; ensure compliance with employment tax requirements
- Assist with month-end client invoicing
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
Qualifications that ensure your success:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required
- Seven or more years with proven experience as an accountant
- Proficiency in accounting software (Advantage experience a plus)
- General knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Familiarity with US tax requirements (1099s, sales tax, etc.)
- Knowledge of global currencies and fund transfers
- Experience with inter-company transfers; international experience preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Abilities to work independently and communicate asynchronously
