GENERAL FUNCTION
The E-Commerce Business Analyst will be supporting the development of the Optical ecommerce business for our Retail North American Brands. The candidate will manage day to day activities, but also support strategic projects to expand the business. The role will also have a focus on collaborating with the ecommerce manager in North America as well as the Analytics team in Milan.
The Business Analyst will support financial planning and strategic initiatives for Lenscrafters and Target Optical brands in North America. This role will be critical in supporting the strategic direction for dedicated e-commerce planning and establishing new processes to support continued growth and profitability, aggregating data across numerous diverse sources. The position will also support cross-functional and cross-category initiatives that support the continued growth and expansion of the online channel, including supporting new distribution and conversion tactics.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Collection and Preparation:
- Gather data from internal and external sources
- Clean and organize raw data for analysis; cross-check data for errors or inconsistencies before delivering outputs
- Maintain data repositories and ensure updated records are available
Data Analysis:
- Conduct data analysis such as calculating trends, averages and comparisons
- Create visualizations like chart, graphs and dashboards to present data insights
- Assist in identifying patterns, anomalies or key metrics relevant to the team’s objectives
- Provide initial support in resolving basic issues or answering questions about data
Reporting:
- Generate periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) for stakeholders and team leaders
- Summarize data findings in presentations, spreadsheets or documents
- Highlight significant observations or trends for (senior) ecommerce manager
Administrative Support:
- Organize and manage files, reports and other documentation for easy access
- Support the team with business case creation by pulling relevant data
Learning and Development:
- Work under the guidance of the ecommerce manager to develop technical and analytical skills
- Become proficient in tools like Excel, Power Bi, Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, etc
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analysis
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed such as testing the website
- Adapt to evolving team priorities and contribute to various tasks as assigned or participating in brainstorming sessions. Use internal reporting tools to monitor KPIs daily
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Technology or related field
- 1 to 3 years experience in eCommerce and/or web site management including working with Markeplaces.
- Experience in project management methodologies and resource management to ensure project results contribute to business value and meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality
- Ability to support cross-functional teams engaged in supporting the direct online channel, including sales, marketing, customer support, IT, product and engineering
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under deadlines, and work independently
- Strong organizational, communication and time management skills
- Experience with business systems and analytics
- Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally with internal groups as well as external vendors
Pay Range: 60,405.80 - 90,274.00
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
