Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. Familiarity with medical office management and HIPAA regulations is essential. Luxurious Lab Testing is seeking a professional and friendly receptionist to manage client check-ins, handle inquiries, and maintain a smooth front-office operation. You will be the first point of contact for clients, helping them navigate our services such as lab testing, DOT physicals, and mobile testing.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar using computerized systems such as Athenahealth or Epic.
- Perform insurance verification and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain patient records accurately within systems like Dentrix.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients, verify appointments, and assist with paperwork
- Manage phone calls and emails regarding appointments and services
- Schedule and reschedule appointments using digital systems
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with client billing and payment processing
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office management practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in using office software and systems such as Athenahealth, Epic, Dentrix, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and insurance verification processes is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
