Job Description:
We are seeking a Yacht Broker for our Yacht Chartering Brokerage firm that has previous experience working in the hospitality industry, yacht industry, or any other luxury service-related industry that deals with high-end clientele & prominent individuals. Preferably must possess expertise and understanding of the Yacht industry and boats in general but this is not a hard requirement. This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor position.
This role could potentially serve as an active or passive income, main or side income stream where brokers can either look for potential customers and forward them to a team that will complete the processing booking & takes care of the entire front office part of the business or they can deal with potential customers themselves in order to earn a higher percentage commission. Brokers will get lifetime commission privileges, meaning, brokers will still profit from returning customers every time they book a yacht or any other luxury services the company provides in Miami.

Active Income Overall Responsibilities:
Responsible for finding clients
Responsible for communicating with clients directly
Responsible for sending customers what boats or yachts are available that accommodates their inquiry & specification
Responsible for marking up broker’s commission
Responsible for collecting deposits from clients
Responsible for sending confirmation emails/texts to clients with the necessary information for the client’s charter
Passive Income Overall Responsibilities:
Responsible for finding clients.
Responsible for connecting clients with Luxury Bookings.
Skills & Knowledge
Exceptional Customer Service Skills as this is a service-driven business.
Outgoing & Sociable with good networking skills.
Internet search literacy and technically savvy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Positive attitude and team player.
Organized.
Fast response.
Expertise in boats & yachts industry preferred but not necessary.
Experience and Education
A college or University degree is a plus but NOT necessary.
Experience working in Yacht sales or related industry with expertise with boats preferred.
Previous sales management experience is an asset.
Experience in dealing with high-end clients, public figures & prominent individuals.
Experience in dealing with luxury services businesses such as real estate, private jets, nightlife & concierge business.
Compensation & Remuneration
Lifetime commission on all sales that are generated by sales or even leads.
