Reports To : Vice President, Product Development & Packaging
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Product Development Manager will work with the VP of Product Development & Packaging and full ONE / SIZE (O / S) team to bring the founder's vision of product to life and will be responsible for developing quality, innovative, first-to-market products within all categories of the ONE / SIZE portfolio.
The Senior Product Development Manager will embody the O / S Operating Principles of operating lean, prioritizing action, being resourceful AF, prioritizing shared process, crafting greatness one detail at a time and being customer and community obsessed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage development of O / S projects from ideation through approval including but not limited to competitive analysis, benchmarking, product brief creation, ingredient selection, shade proposals, submission tracking and timeline management
- Oversee maintenance and updating of all standards and benchmarks
- Send timely feedback on lab submissions and production batches
- Build and maintain effective and strong relationships with contract manufacturers and 3rd party vendors
- Lead weekly vendor and NPD status on behalf of PD
- Lead the turnover of new formula product information to cross-functional teams
- Work with Marketing to build product and page copy
- Work with Sales to build education materials
- Work with Regulatory & Legal for all claims and name approvals
- Spearhead all internal formula and shade testing with O / S and CATS teams
- Oversee lab sample / comp and finished goods needs by project for internal and retailer meetings
- Work with Marketing to prepare pricing analysis and recommendations
- Participate and lead discussions in weekly PD strategy meetings
- Participate in quarterly dream sessions
- Attend industry trade shows and vendor presentations and share out findings with broader team members where necessary
- Provide competitive and trend insights to the PD team and cross functionally
- Partner with Packaging team to assist in component development
- Manage the PD room and product trays
