Job Summary
A prestigious private club on Nantucket is seeking a seasonal Chef de Cuisine to help lead a high-performing culinary team. This is a hands-on, leadership-driven role overseeing multiple kitchens and outlets, offering a rare opportunity to cook and lead at an elite level during the busy summer season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee BOH operations across 3 kitchens and 4–5 outlets
- Manage and train a seasonal team of 15–20 cooks (H2B/J1 mix)
- Execute a mix of à la carte dining and events for up to 300 guests
- Collaborate on seasonal menus and maintain cost controls
- Report to the Executive Chef and Year-Round CDC
Ideal Candidate Has:
- 5 years in a CDC or Executive Sous Chef role
- Experience with upscale dining and high-volume events
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Comfort with labor management and culinary operations
- Club or resort experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the Nantucket/Cape Cod market is a plus
