We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. Duties

• Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues through help desk tickets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and computer networking.
• Assist users with installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems.
• Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.
• Monitor network performance and assist in maintaining TCP/IP configurations.
• Document issues and resolutions in ticketing systems such as Jira or Remedy.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure efficient operations of Windows Server environments.
• Perform routine maintenance on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

• Proven experience in a help desk or desktop support role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and computer management.
• Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) is essential.
• Experience with Windows Server administration is a plus.
• Proficiency in using ticketing systems such as Jira or Remedy for issue tracking.
• Understanding of Active Directory for user management is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
