Position Classification: Part-Time Administration
Minimum Position Qualifications
Assists in the administration of the Extension Center; counsels students regarding educational programs, course offerings and college and career choices; assists in referring students to appropriate sources of information, departments and outside agencies that provide needed services; collaborates with academic and student support personnel in assisting students with problem-solving activities; coordinates career and student assistance programs; develops and administer surveys; needs assessments; assists with registration and testing; assists in program development; assists with grant activities. Hours: Monday - Friday Afternoon Shift.
Entry Salary: $29.02/hour
Standard Work Week: 25 Hours

Minimum Position Qualifications
- Education - Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, Business or related field; Master's preferred.
- Experience - Three (3) years experience in education or counseling or academic advising or educational recruiting.
- Skills - Knowledge of the principles and practices of education and counseling; ability to communicate effectively both oral and in writing; ability to exercise critical human relation skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with students, the college and the community; grant writing preferred.
