Under the direction of the Director of Elections, perform specialized functions related to the implementation, monitoring, and conducting of elections activities and procedures, including balloting, assisting in the tabulation process, certification of election results, and warehouse logistics. Lead member of assigned staff; to perform a broad range of administrative, technical and specialized duties to facilitate the preparation and conducting of primary, general, and special elections; and other work as required.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Prepare inventory reports for supervisors of all supplies required for equipment within the Registrar of Voters.Maintain election equipment, including equipment inventory, maintenance, and deployment.Assist with the preparation of ballot content and layouts.Perform election activities including preparing, assembling, and distributing precinct supplies/equipment. Assist in programming, testing and certification or election equipment, ballot tabulation, conducting official canvass and certification of the election results and any recounts. Required to work extended and/or flexible hours as needed during peak election periods and as assigned by the Director of Elections.Other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to satisfactorily complete Criminal History Record checks and Child Abuse Clearances.3-5 years working experience in a legal or governmental or political experience office environment, OR any equivalent combinations of experience and/or training.The County of Luzerne is an EEO/ADA employer
