Collaborative Pianist Job Description
As a Collaborative Pianist, your job will primarily consist of rehearsing and performing alongside our talented Senior Session (high school aged) students for their solo recitals, the concerto competition, and masterclasses with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra and other visiting guest artists. At LMC, we all work as part of the LMC team to provide the best experience for all of our students.
Dates
Senior Session: Monday, July 21 – Sunday, August 17, 2025 (High School Division)
Faculty positions require a full commitment at LMC’s campus during employment dates. Housing and meals provided.
Salary
$3000-3500/four-week session
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a collaborative pianist with high school and pre-professional musicians of a variety of instruments
- Excellent sight-reading skills and familiarity with diverse repertoire
- Commitment to mentoring students musically and social-emotionally to contribute to overall student development
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
