A leading engineering, planning, and construction management firm is seeking Deputy Director of Construction Management to provide high-level oversight of construction operations, project execution, and team leadership. This role will support the Director of Construction Management in strategic planning, policy implementation, and the successful delivery of complex projects across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee construction planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure project success.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for construction management.
- Manage relationships with government agencies, municipalities, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Supervise and mentor project managers, engineers, and field staff.
- Assist in procurement processes, contract negotiations, and RFP development.
- Provide strategic insights to optimize construction operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in construction management, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- Strong leadership background, with experience managing large project teams.
- Knowledge of procurement, RFP processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to work with government agencies.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (PE, PMP, or CCM preferred).
