At LVI Associates, we're seeking a talented Machine engineer to join our team as an Electrical Control Systems Specialist. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and components.
About the Role:
In this role, you will program and configure industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI), collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal staff to ensure seamless project execution. You will also troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems, develop and implement software solutions using Java, Python, and other programming languages, and utilize MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server for database management. Additionally, you may be required to assist in UI and web development as needed and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and have proficiency in Java, Python, and other programming languages. Knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server is also essential. Familiarity with PPython, Jython, and Java is preferred, as well as experience in UI and web development. Knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI) is desirable but can be taught on the job. Self-teaching and self-motivation are essential skills for this role.
