What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM- BESS (All Levels) position at LVI Associates?
Were working with an IPP that is seeking PM's and APM's to oversee utility-scale BESS and Substation Projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for Project Safety, Scheduling, Budget, Contract Management, and Construction Quality. This role requires working from the company's offices in Texas or Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning: Manage project design, coordinate engineering resources, host site kick-off and close-out meetings, ensure daily JHA's and Plan of the Day, assist with schedule recovery plans, manage design RFI's, and engage landowners.
- Safety: Lead by example in safety practices, reinforce safe behaviors, ensure JHA's before work commences, adhere to standard operating procedures, provide job-specific training, and support the site team in technical, quality, and safety.
- EPC Relationship Management: Deliver project management excellence and maintain EPC relationships.
- Budget: Accountable for project budget, costs, forecasts, procurement, and materials management.
- Contract: Ensure EPC follows the contract, review change orders, manage field purchases, understand contractual obligations, and pass on main EPC contract terms to subcontracts.
Requirements:
- PMP Certification is a plus, knowledge of Construction safety
- 5 years of Construction experience, including on-site experience
- 2 years of Supervisory experience in a Construction leadership role
- Valid driver's license and passport
- Willing to travel 25% to project sites
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
