What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Environmental Engineer/Geologist position at LVI Associates?
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct and oversee all phases of environmental site assessment and remediation projects, including initial site assessments, hydrogeologic investigations, development of conceptual site models, contaminant fate and transport analysis, remedial action design, and implementation.
- Support and manage multiple projects from a remediation and environmental engineering perspective.
- Independently handle project tasks such as marketing and business development, proposal creation, scope of work and schedule development, regulatory negotiations, subcontractor management, contract oversight, and budget management.
- Serve as a technical resource for environmental remediation and engineering projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering design teams for civil / environmental projects.
- Design and operate remediation systems, including in-situ remedies, cover systems, recovery and treatment, and waste management.
- Collaborate with various agencies, clients, and internal and external team members and partners.
- Mentor and work closely with junior-level environmental staff.
- Assist with recruiting, development, and training of staff.
- Perform quality reviews for environmental reports and deliverables.
- Ensure accuracy, scope, budget, contracting, quality control and assurance, safety, reporting, schedule, and client expectations.
