Water Resources Project Manager
A client is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to lead and manage a variety of stormwater, wastewater, and water distribution system projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing firm that recently became an employee-owned company (ESOP), offering new team members the chance to be part of something from the ground up.
- Design and manage stormwater collection, wastewater collection, and water distribution system facilities.
- Oversee projects from start to finish, including proposals, schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
- Manage multiple projects while balancing scheduling and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, and local government officials, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with managers and project engineers to develop effective water resources solutions.
- Assist on water resources aspects of multidisciplinary projects.
- Prepare grant applications and facility plans, coordinating with private and public stakeholders to secure project funding, especially for small and medium-sized systems.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with HECRAS, HECHMS, PondPak, HY-8, Microstation
- Familiarity with GeoPAK Drainage, XPSWMM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and WaterCAD
- Experience with Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District projects
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from a four-year college or university
- 10 years of experience
- Professional Engineer, licensed in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, or Missouri, with design experience focused on water resources
- Knowledge of preparation and review of engineering plans and specifications to ensure all aspects of project implementation are clearly conveyed
- Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, and water resources-related projects
- Experienced in working with both governmental and private clients in Missouri, Kentucky, and Illinois
Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
