Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Business Operations Executive (Finance) to lead our financial strategy, business administration, and operations. Reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, Dr. Jin Hyung Lee, the BOE (Finance) will play a critical role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory by managing financial planning, fostering investor relationships, overseeing corporate administration, and providing strategic business support.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with long-term business objectives.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and capital allocation to optimize company growth.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including audits and tax filings as applicable.
- Investor Relations
- Act as the surrogate liaison between the founder and investors / financial stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver compelling investor presentations and quarterly updates.
- Build relationships with current and prospective investors, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with legal and corporate teams to prepare for future fundraising rounds.
- Corporate Administration
- Manage financial compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage key administrative functions, including contracts, insurance, and operational policies.
- Oversee human resources, ensuring efficient onboarding, employee engagement, and benefit administration.
- Strategic Business Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Founder and CEO, providing insights on strategic decisions and business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with operational goals.
- Support the development, contracting, and execution of strategic partnerships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Business Operations Executive, senior financial executive or CFO, preferably in a SaaS, tech, or healthcare-related company.
- Strong background in financial management, investor relations, and fundraising.
- Excellent understanding of corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
