Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Barber to join our team. This is a fairly new barbershop right on the border of Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton and gets clientele from both places. At this time, you MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CLIENTELE. We do get some walk-ins but only enough to feed one of newer barbers, there's not enough to share at this time, but as the business builds that will change. Your pay for this position will be 70/30 commission.

Of course, you will provide exceptional grooming services to your clients while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services, ensuring each client leaves feeling satisfied and confident.

Duties

• Perform haircuts, shaves, and styling services tailored to individual client preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients and addressing their needs.
• Educate clients on hair care products and services, including hair extensions and color theory.
• Assist with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments using MINDBODY software.
• Mentor junior barbers or trainees in techniques and customer service best practices.
• Promote retail sales of grooming products and tools to enhance client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve skills.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Barber or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and customer management.
• Knowledge of eyelash extensions, nail care, or hair extensions is a plus.
• Strong understanding of retail math to assist with inventory management and sales tracking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
