Job Summary
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support HR functions across designated regions. This role involves handling various HR responsibilities, including payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, risk assessment, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about supporting employees and maintaining smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR Policies & Procedures: Assist in developing and implementing effective HR policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Payroll & Benefits Administration: Help with payroll processing, data entry, report generation, and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, preparing candidate materials, and supporting the onboarding process for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Provide assistance in resolving employee relations issues, conducting exit interviews, and offering support for conflict resolution.
- Workforce Planning & Data Management: Help manage workforce data, including turnover rates, categorizing voluntary/involuntary departures, and ensuring overtime and break compliance.
- HR Information Systems: Maintain and update employee records in HR information systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Legal Compliance: Support the HR team in ensuring compliance with California state and federal labor laws.
- Documentation Management: Help organize and maintain employee documentation and files in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Additional HR Support: Assist with various HR projects and tasks as needed to support the overall HR function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Korean (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative or HR-related experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CA state and federal labor laws.
- Strong email etiquette and professional written communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Basicin Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Business Hours
- Monday - Friday: 7:30 am - 4 pm PST

Pay: $45,760.00 - $60,000.00 per year
