Job Description:
The Warehouse Infrastructure Team is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Coordinator to oversee the overall maintenance, operations, and improvement of our warehouse facilities. This role requires a strong focus on facility management, including coordinating resources, ensuring safety standards, and managing vendors to maintain efficient and safe warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the warehouse infrastructure, including building systems, electrical systems, HVAC, lighting, and other critical utilities.
- Ensure proper maintenance schedules are followed to avoid facility downtime and disruptions.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination:
- Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors (e.g., cleaning services, HVAC maintenance, security systems).
- Monitor vendor performance, ensure they meet service level agreements, and resolve any issues or disputes.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., OSHA, fire safety standards).
- Coordinate fire prevention and maintain appropriate records for safety inspections and certifications.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the facility's maintenance budget, ensuring cost-efficient operations.
Facility Improvement Projects:
- Plan and oversee facility upgrades and renovations to enhance operational efficiency or accommodate new business requirements.
- Collaborate with the operation team to prioritize and manage capital improvement projects.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, inspections, repairs, and service agreements.
- Assist in the preparation of reports for upper management regarding facility management operations.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as the point of contact between the Infrastructure team and other teams/departments, ensuring effective communication regarding facility needs.
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that operational disruptions are minimized and facility issues are resolved promptly.
