We are seeking a Customs & Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient import process, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines. This role involves reviewing shipping documents, coordinating customs clearance, classifying goods, and managing duties and taxes. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, resolve customs issues, and proactively mitigate risks to ensure smooth and timely deliveries. A strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures is essential.


Responsibility Areas: 

  • Coordinate closely with vendors, customers, shipping agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and government agencies to facilitate the smooth movement of goods through the import process while ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Review and verify import documents, ensuring compliance with various import regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as company requirements.
  • Classify goods using the appropriate customs tariff codes and stay up-to-date on customs regulations, tariff changes, and international trade policies.
  • Calculate and manage duties, taxes, and other charges associated with import activities, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.
  • Address and resolve any customs-related delays, fines, or seizures imposed by authorities, working proactively to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee the customs clearance process, coordinating with logistics teams to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient cargo movement.
  • Track shipments from origin to destination, providing status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with customs clearance and logistics, identifying potential compliance issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and generate reports on customs and logistics activities for management review.
  • Assist in optimizing logistics operations, including freight cost analysis, carrier selection, and route planning, to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an understanding of international trade regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in customs and logistics as an import and/or export coordinator.
  • Proven experience with transportation management, customs compliance, and trade regulations.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English to effectively communicate with vendors and partners.


Work Hours: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
