Position: Territory Sales Representative
Location: Western Michigan, centered around the Grand Rapids, MI area

Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability by offering a range of petroleum products and solutions, while building long-lasting professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Secure business opportunities from existing and prospective customers through a consultative, needs-based approach.
- Inspire, motivate, and engage prospects to understand and commit to solutions that meet their long-term needs.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
- Deliver formal and informal sales presentations.
- Execute value-added sales proposals where applicable.
- Research and identify potential customers and gather information to assess their potential.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics, and operations teams.
- Understand market conditions and report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline through the CRM system.
- Actively participate in pipeline management and coaching calls.
- Master value sales strategies to maximize revenue growth.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's degree, military service, or 3 years of outside sales experience.
- 3 years of experience in petroleum, chemical, or other industrial sales preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn contact management software (CRM).
- Must reside in the greater Grand Rapids area or within a 1-hour drive.
