Job Title: Digital Media Content Creator Manager (Part-Time Contractor)

Position Summary:
LYH Women in Business is seeking a creative and results-oriented Digital Media Content Creator to support the creative planning and execution of our annual Galentine's Day event. This role will be crucial in developing and designing on-brand engaging social media content and marketing materials to effectively promote the event and drive attendance.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Develop compelling social media content (text, images, videos) across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, potentially others) to promote the Galentine's Day event.
- Design eye-catching graphics and marketing materials (flyers, posters, website banners) for both digital and print use.
- Work with our Marketing Director and Co-Founders to finalize and execute creative campaign ideas to increase event awareness and engagement.
- Create and deploy all business partner posts to successfully fulfill each partner obligation.
Social Media Management:
- Schedule and publish social media posts across all relevant platforms.
- Monitor and engage with followers on social media, responding to comments and messages.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
Event Support:
- Create a shot-list for our event and be on-site to post during event and capture pictures and short video clips for future marketing material. Event is Thursday, February 13 from 6-9 PM.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with LYH Women in Business co-founders to align content with event goals and overall brand identity.
- Provide weekly progress reports to co-founders.
- Communicate via Voxer with Co-Founders and Event Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Passion for supporting women in business and a strong understanding of the target audience.
- Experience with social media analytics tools (we use Databox)
Position Details:
- Position Type: Part-time, contract (5 weeks)
- Hours per Week: 10 hours
- Reporting: Report directly to LYH Women in Business co-founders.
