Job Description:

Medical Assistant/LPN needed for a growing medical practice.

We are looking for someone to work part-time (about 24- 32 hours a week), with potential to increase hours or move to full-time, or to start full time. The workplace is a small medical clinic. There is some face-to-face interaction with patients but the majority of daily activities will include phone and computer work and interaction with patients, their families, and other staff members. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

MUST BE:

• Able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, team members, and vendors.

• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to follow-through tasks.

• Able to multi-task and work independently.

• A team player, friendly, has a positive attitude, and be adaptable to changes or unexpected events.

• Reliable, highly emphasized in prior work history

MUST HAVE:

• Two years or more experience in back medical office or senior living.

• Strong work ethics, good customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Completed LPN license program / Medical Assistant program

• Experience as a Medical Assistant /LPN or in related field.

• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills

• A pleasing personality with strong communication skills

• Excellent written and spoken grammar

• The ability to write clearly and be proficient in typical computer software/programs, Adobe, MS Office, etc.

• Highly motivated and self-sufficient

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work well under limited supervision.

• Strong understand of medical conditions and meds

• Experience with patients with chronic conditions is preferred

• Experience with Athena Health EMR is a plus

• Love for seniors!

Starting salary: $16.00 - $24.00, with opportunities for growth.
