- Responsibilities :
- Answers telephones, screens calls, takes messages and provides information in a timely manner
- Provides warm transfer calls to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedules appointments according to scheduling specifications for each physician
- Verifies new patients benefits and eligibility
- Keeps physicians' schedule full
- Completes and mails new patient packets
- Qualifications :
- Must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish
- At least 1 year of reception, admin or call center experience in a medical office required!!!
- Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
