What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate/Foreclosure Attorney position at Lynch & Associates?
A well respected New York boutique law firm whose practice centers on all aspects of commercial loan origination and commercial workouts/foreclosure litigation and a wide variety of related real estate matters is seeking a highly qualified real estate attorney to join their team.
Responsibilities include with respect to commercial loan origination:
- Handle all duties related to closings of commercial loans secured by real estate.
- Review and comment of title insurance commitments, title policies, title endorsements and surveys.
- Review due diligence documents pertaining to borrowing entities.
- Review and analyze leases and prepare lease summaries and abstracts.
Responsibilities include with respect to commercial workouts/foreclosure litigation:
- Handle all duties related to commercial foreclosure litigation
- Draft pleadings and motions
- Attend Court proceedings
- Manage a full caseload and paralegals.
Qualified candidates will have:
- At least 3-10 years of recent transactional real estate experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational and data management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and deliver a high standard of customer service in a fast paced environment
Position is for our Huntington office.
