Budget and Dashboard Analyst (Power BI)

What We Are Looking For :

Provide Federal IT budget analysis, dashboard development, and maintenance support. Work closely with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) on end-to-end budgetary needs including planning, execution, and reporting. This client-facing role requires adapting to a dynamic environment and evolving demands.

• Determine the feasibility of automating government financial business practices.
• Support definition of government financial business practices and incorporate processes into an automated solution.
• Assist in applying sound accounting and data processing principles.
• Integrate government financial business practices.
• Identify potential problems and solutions through analysis and recommends solutions.
• Work with functional specialists, vendors, and customers to effectively automate requirements.
• Apply applications, while adhering to established accounting principles and practices.
• Assist in planning and executing Agency budgetary resources, including assistance in establishing budget controls and budget loads into the Agency's financial system.
• Administer and execute quarterly and annual commitment and obligation plans.
• Assist in developing reports and supporting budget execution reviews to monitor execution performance.
• Work with the Agency team in developing mission and operational resource requirements. Support reviews and analyses to ensure that planned activities / milestones are realistic, properly costed, and consistent with program objectives and the Agency's investment strategy.
• Assist in establishing projections for, and monitoring execution of, funds received from all sources. Support financial analysis and execution reports as required to meet customer and management needs.
• Provide input to the formulation and justification of assigned programs for the POM, BES and President's Budget exhibits.
