- Provide continuity in the classroom instructional program to support the school division's essential comprehensive educational program by carrying out the daily routine and instructional objectives of the professional classified staff in their absence.
- Works with individual or small groups of students to reinforce learning objectives and standards.
- Supports students in learning classroom/school routines and procedures.
- Provides supervision and a safe environment for students during structured and unstructured times such as lunch, recess, transitions, loading/unloading of buses, and any other assigned duties
- Assists with the development of students' social/emotional skills.
- Assists with small group learning activities.
