What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Lyndhurst Municipal Court?
The Lyndhurst Municipal Court is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Bookkeeper. Recent experience using multiple accounting software platforms, proficiency in Microsoft Excell a plus. Duties include bank reconciliations, maintaining general journals, end of month disbursements, Annual Reports. Experience with audits, etc.
Duties include:
- Verify accuracy of financial or transactional data
- Organize, analyze, and maintain financial records.
- Prepare Distribution Reports.
- Issue monthly checks.
- Prepare/Generate Annual Reports.
- Process Unclaimed Funds
- Produce reports, such as balance sheets, statements of Receipts/Disbursements, and totals by account.
- Consistently check for accuracy in figures, postings, and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and report any differences monthly.
- Produce documents for annual audit/provide ongoing audit support.
