Summary The Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics Division is seeking a skilled individual to serve as Business Manager. The EG Business Manager should possess a diverse range of technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage financial operations efficiently within the EG organization. Responsibilities Develop, coordinate, and maintain an integrated system of financial staff services including accounting, budgeting, and management-financial reporting. Work may include staff services as auditing, credit analysis, management analysis. Exercise effective control over the financial resources of the organization. Coordinate and synthesize financial and management data so as to interpret the composite financial results of operations to all levels of the organization's management. Advise on, develop, coordinate, and carryout financial policies, procedures, and plans. Review, analyze, evaluate, and report upon program accomplishments in business and financial terms. Advise and assist management officials of the organization served by supplying business management advice required to make management decisions, establish organizational goals and objectives, and in all respects to manage the organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level : Evaluating budget and financial areas for a complex project or programs that require interaction with performing organizations, centers, Headquarters, and Mission Operations; Providing business and financial advice, status reports, and guidance to division and branch level managers on business operations; Participating as an analyst in monthly organizational or Division business reviews.
