Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Avenel, NJ. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to the manufacturing team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the manufacturing team.
- Organize and maintain records, documents, files, and reports.
- Manage scheduling, correspondence, and internal communications.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and safety.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to document and analyze data, create reports, and manage spreadsheets.
- Develop visual aids, reports, and charts to communicate key safety metrics and performance results.
- Work closely with the production team to identify and address obstacles.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of administrative experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong PowerPoint skills for presentations and reporting.
- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to design and generate forms.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Pay & Schedule:
- $20.00
- Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
