Shipping Clerk

Our client, a leading luxury company, is looking for a Shipping Clerk to join their team in Cranbury, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing cartons diverted to the jackpot lane, ensuring timely and accurate shipments within the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review cartons diverted to the jackpot lane and utilize WCS and WMS software to identify and resolve issues preventing successful shipment.
• Track and report issues to management to address root causes and improve processes.
• Generate and apply accurate shipping labels according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Re-induct corrected cartons back onto the conveyor system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Operate and monitor print and apply machines, troubleshooting basic issues and performing routine maintenance.
• Conduct quality checks on printed and applied labels to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating print and apply machines in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of label printing technologies and materials.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Pay & Schedule:

• $20.75
• Monday to Friday
• 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
