Our client, a retail grocery company in Schenectady, NY is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join their team as an Order Pickers.
You will be responsible for preparing and packing orders for shipment in a warehouse environment.
Your Day :
- Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
- Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
- Use of vocollect system
- Use of RF scanner
- Meeting and maintaining selecting quotas
Requirements :
- Electric Pallet Jack experience
- Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position
- Experience in voice picking systems or RF devices
- Able to read and write in English
- Great attention to detail
- Diligent and punctual
- Good physical strength and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Pay and Schedule :
- 5 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
- Days of the week vary each week
- Must be flexible to work on weekends
- $17.00 (depends on role and shift)
