What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Enrichment Coordinator position at Lyngblomsten?
Lyngblomsten’s NEW Lino Lakes campus is located at the corner of Hodgson Road and County Road J, the campus features 20 detached rental townhomes; a multi-level senior living building with 96 independent living apartments, 35 assisted living apartments, and 17 memory care apartments; and an array of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a fitness center with warm water pool, restaurant and pub, chapel, courtyard, community garden, walking trails, and pickleball court.
Lyngblomsten has a new opportunity for a passionate person to join our campus as a Life Enrichment Assistant. This position will be Tuesday through Saturday, FT.
The key function of this position is to Empower and encourage residents to participate in therapeutic activities in both Assisted Living and Memory Care.
We are looking for someone who loves to feed the souls of our community. This location will need a person who loves engagement and to be plugged into the needs of this active campus.
Qualifications:
- Must have the desire to work with older adults
- Experience in a resident activity program or experience working with seniors
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willing to drive a small bus for resident outings
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Set up and facilitate daily activities and events designed to honor tenants' and residents' interests and needs.
- Work with individuals living in all housing areas including; independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
- Empower and encourage residents and tenants to participate in individual and group activities.
- Provide input to the Director of Life Enrichment regarding the development of monthly programming calendars.
- Assist with special events and outings.
- Keep a record of supply and equipment needs and report to the Director as needed.
- Maintain records and complete documentation as required.
