We are looking for an Receptionist/Bookkeeper.
Receptionist duties will include front office duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering a multi-line phone system, preparing correspondence, filing and document recording. Must have an outgoing personality, and ability to communicate well with clients.
Bookkeeping responsibilities will include posting transactions to the general ledger, reconciling bank statements, preparation of payroll and calculating tax payments and returns for various client businesses. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office software.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions for various clients
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely payroll tax payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Skills
- Work experience as an Bookkeeper and or Tax Preparer
- Hands-on experience with accounting software specifically QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel and Word skills
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
