Lynn Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital located in Riverdale, Maryland. We welcome both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year-round with good nutrition and exercise. We stay up-to-date on the latest advances in veterinary technology and treat all animals with loving care during each check-up, procedure, or surgery.
We are seeking a passionate and caring team player who can develop a rapport with clients, determine their needs and wishes, and perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures while minimizing patient stress and discomfort. The ideal candidate will also explain physical examination findings, communicate diagnoses to clients, generate treatment plans, and educate clients on preventative healthcare.
The selected veterinarian will maintain accurate client/patient medical records, assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of patients, and stay current with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine through continuing education meetings. Additionally, they will contribute to the development of our paraprofessional team to ensure exceptional client service and the delivery of high-quality care.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a positive and friendly attitude, and the ability to make decisions and communicate effectively with fellow team members. Responsibilities:
- Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Maryland
