What You Will Be Doing
- Sales Planning: Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve business objectives.
- Representative Management: Build and maintain relationships with manufacturer’s representatives to drive sales initiatives.
- Lead Development: Identify and cultivate new leads within the assigned region.
- Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with end users to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Proposal Writing: Prepare and present detailed proposals to potential customers.
- Closing Sales: Employ consultative sales techniques to close deals effectively.
- Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering solutions that meet their operational and technical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
- Experience working with industrial steam system flow and controls.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with external customers.
- Proven success presenting information to various audiences, including executives, employees, and clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- General knowledge of industrial steam system flow and controls.
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics and general business accounting principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels within an organization.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with business applications.
