Job Description:
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist event manager and associate director with proper execution and marketing for university events, while facilitating proper interdepartmental communication and organization across applicable departments in a timely manner
- Support team with management of master events calendar. Create meeting agendas, update team reports, communicate with vendors and assist with marketing tasks.
- Assist events team with daily administrative work and logistics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Organization skills.
- Exceptional collaboration, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) required.
- One year of experience in event planning, social coordination or related field required.
- Must be able to work on campus or at off-campus event sites.
- Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed for special events.
