Who You Are
The Director of Events oversees all aspects of the Events Department, providing leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution to ensure the department's success. This role is responsible for client relationship management, event planning and execution, budget development, business development, and staff management. The Director will also play a key role in developing proposals, creating / securing contracts, and generating revenue streams for the company.
What You'll Do
Event Team : Client Management & Event Strategy
- Consult with clients to determine event objectives, requirements, and budgets.
- Coordinate event services including accommodations, audio / visual needs, catering, transportation, facilities, signage, security, and other logistical requirements.
- Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with regulations, customer satisfaction, and problem resolution.
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee proposal development for events and business leads.
- Manage event budgets, including preparation, tracking, and profitability analysis.
- Develop timelines and ensure the timely delivery of all event components.
- Create and implement marketing strategies for events, including client presentations and promotional plans.
