Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and control processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems, project management, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with CMMC, ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR certifications.
- Conduct regular audits of quality control processes to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Lead the QA/QC team in performing inspections, testing, and validation of products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage documentation related to quality assurance processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality manuals.
- Oversee training programs for staff on quality control practices, HACCP principles, and relevant regulations.
- Analyze data from quality metrics to drive decision-making and enhance product quality.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, including QA/QC practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as CGMP and HACCP, CMMC.
- Experience with project management principles to effectively lead initiatives aimed at improving product quality.
- Proficiency in fabricating processes and understanding of how they impact overall product quality.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to quality metrics.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
- Background in Aerospace, manufacturing, or water-jet environments is preferred.
