About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced Lead Nurse Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Director of Nursing.
This key leadership position is responsible for managing the Nursing department, ensuring efficiency and excellence in resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative functions, including documentation, medical records, nursing supplies, quality assurance, care plans, and staff scheduling.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in implementing policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve resident outcomes and overall quality of care.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing from the State of Texas.
- At least 1 year of experience in a nursing home setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
- BLS certification.
