BASIC FUNCTION :
Support staff in the development of communication materials and multimedia products. Assist in the timely and accurate dissemination of information to District stakeholders and the community.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES :

- Support in the development and design of digital, web, and print marketing materials
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of press releases
- Provide both technical and editorial website support, updating content, and publishing news stories in social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Presentation and report development and design, including PowerPoint and Canva;
- Copywriting and editing, including developing original content under direction and editing from multiple contributors;
- Event planning and preparation
- Coordinating special projects and community outreach
- Create and update media talking points
- Post updates to the department's Intranet
- Creating and updating resource material
- Interacting with other governmental and community-based organizations
- Utilizing online metrics tools (such as Google Analytics) to report on statistics for websites, social media sites, email campaigns, and online advertising;
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
