Senior IT Manager

The Senior IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the IT department. This role involves managing IT initiatives, ensuring the alignment of technology with business goals, and leading a team of IT professionals. The Senior IT Manager will play a critical role in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and maintaining the security and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Development and implement IT strategies that align with the company's business objectives and drive digital transformation.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Infrastructure Management: Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services.
• Cybersecurity: Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and practices to protect the company's data and systems from threats.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with financial goals.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in IT management and data protection.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance IT service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management and other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and foster a positive work environment.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT projects, with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to meeting the needs of internal and external clients.
