Mercedes Benz of Burlington, part of the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, is searching for an individual to join our diverse team as an Express Technician .

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, with a rotating Saturday shift
What you will do :
Examine vehicles to identify necessary repairs or maintenance items that may not be included on the repair order, and communicate to Service Advisor or Shop Foreman
Clearly and accurately document all work performed
Road test vehicles as required, or refer to the inspection technician as appropriate
State vehicle inspections
Attend and successfully complete factory training as required by factory. Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
Follow warranty material disposition procedures
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
Maintain the order and cleanliness of customer cars and work areas
Requirements
What you need to be successful in this position :
Must be 18 or older, and possess a valid driver license and clean driving record
A desire to grow in the automotive industry
Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration and a positive attitude
Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
State Vehicle inspection certification a plus; will train
